Music at the Market: Isaac Williams, Pianist

Isaac Williams is a remarkably talented pianist who specializes in gospel, jazz, boogie, blues and improvisation.  He is in great demand for parties and receptions, both public and private, as he mixes his own compositions of beautiful, quiet, mood music with toe-tapping versions of familiar gospel tunes.

A senior at E. C. Glass High School, Isaac has been accepted for this Fall 2016 into the very prestigious Shenandoah Conservatory in a four year program of Music Therapy with a Jazz emphasis.

Isaac’s musical talent was discovered at age eight at the Yoder Community Center in the Tinbridge Hill section of Lynchburg.  Since then he has taken sporadic lessons from jazz and classical pianists and his church choir director.   All would agree, however, that he is mostly self-taught as he takes his favorite melodies and makes them his own.
