Welcome back, Locavores! Our first Chef Demo featured delicious tastings of Green Goddess Dressing and Brown Butter Sea Salt Cookies from Locust Thicket Historic Precinct Executive Chef, Jason Arbusto .  He brings years of classical experience as well a passion for local fare to the table. He attended high school at Virginia Episcopal School here in Lynchburg VA.  After culinary school he worked under master chefs Alain Ducasse, Jean-Francois Piege, Les Freres Porcel in France, Monaco, Las Vegas, and most recently in San Francisco with Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead). He recently moved back to Lynchburg with his beautiful wife and 2 children. He looks forward to life in a smaller city and bringing a locally focused menu to the people of Lynchburg.

Green Goddess Dressing for more than just salad. Try some great suggestions to jazz up your plate:

  • With Roast Beef
  • On an Avocado Sandwhich
  • Atop Roasted Shrimp & Asparagus
  • To marinade Chicken
  • As a Chickpea & Quinoa Bowl
  • In Pasta Salad
  • For dipping Pulled Pork & Smoked Gouda Egg Rolls
